Dental Implants
If you want to replace a missing tooth with something as close to the real deal as possible, then ask us about a dental implant. An implant can be used to replace a missing tooth anywhere in your mouth. The biocompatible titanium post is surgically placed into your jawbone in the location of the missing tooth. While it is healing the bone fuses around the post so that eventually the implant becomes part of your jawbone. This strong artificial tooth root can then be topped with a dental crown, or several implants can be used to anchor a dental bridge. Dental implants can also be used to keep dentures in place in lieu of denture adhesive.
Dental Crowns
Dental crowns are very versatile. They are placed on top of dental implants to replace a missing tooth. Crowns are often used to replace back teeth that have been damaged by deep cavities. A crown is also used after a root canal to top off what remains of the saved tooth. Cracked teeth can be strengthened by crowns. The bridge is anchored on each end by healthy natural teeth or by dental implants topped by dental crowns. Custom made dentures can replace a single palate or a full mouth of missing teeth. They can be secured with strong dental adhesive or dental implants.
